主讲人：Alidad Amirfazli博士，加拿大约克大学机械系创立者兼系主任、教授，阿尔伯塔大学机械系前主任，加拿大工程研究院院士（Fellow of Engineering Institute of Canada）,胶体与界面科学、热力学、表面工程方面的国际著名学者，超疏水表面研究的世界权威之一，加拿大国家自然科学基金表面工程研究会主席，国际权威学术期刊Adv.Colloi Interface Sci.主编。发表高水平论文200余篇，20多项专利。
主要内容：A sessile drop placed on a solid surface can shed, if the aerodynamic drag force due to a shearing airflow overcomes the drop adhesion to the surface. Sessile drop shedding is of fundamental importance due to its applications in such areas as ice avoidance, etc. In this talk an overview of shedding of droplets under normal laboratory and icing conditions will be presented.
